Legend Of Korra Creators Visit Studio Mir As Free Avatar Comic Book Featuring Sokka And Suki Unveils 2-Page Preview!

There's been a dearth of "The Legend of Korra" news as of late, but some updates from the "Avatar: The Last Airbenders" have surfaced.

As fans know, "The Legend of Korra" co-creator Bryan Konietzko is very active on Tumblr and has been updating fans with images from Book 3.

Most recently, Konietzko shared the fact that he (and possibly Michael DiMartino) are in Seoul, South Korea visiting Studio Mir.

Studio Mir, of course, is the animation studio behind the gorgeous Nickelodeon series, and will be solely responsible for Book 3, "Change."

"Book 2 had its share of problems production-wise, you know, with animation studios issues and things like that," said "Legend of Korra" composer Jeremy Zuckerman on the podcast "Republic City Dispatch."

"Now they've really got it together and it seems to have momentum now."

Book 2 was famously delayed because half of it was animated by Studio Mir, while the other half by Pierrot, so hopefully Book 3 does not suffer the same problems thanks to Studio Mir.

Meanwhile, the "Avatar: The Last Airbender" universe will also be hitting the comic book world soon for Free Comic Book Day 2014!

This comic book will center around Sokka and Suki, and will be released May 3, 2014!

And now, the first two pages of the free comic book has been made available for your perusal. With story by Gene Yang and art by Faith Erin Hicks, be sure to check it out in May.

Perhaps, "The Legend of Korra" Book 3 will also have its premiere in May. Wouldn't that be nice?
