BBC America has announced that televiewers from different parts of the world will now be able to see hit show Orphan Black real time as they are now reproducing the fictional drama worldwide.

"BBC Worldwide has sold the original BBC America drama into France on Numero 23, Australia's SBS and New Zealand SoHo network and Latin America on DirecTV and BBC Entertainment," the Hollywood Reporter announced in a news yesterday.

The Tatiana Maslany-starrer originally produced for Canada's Space channel by Temple Street Productions has also been sold to KBS Media in Korea, Finland's YLE, Denmark's DR and Belgium's VRT.

BBC Three in the UK earlier acquired the series, as did AXN in India.

According to BBC Worldwide Global Markets president Paul Dempsey, the move shouldn't come as a surprise with the way Orphan Black has been ruling reviews and getting recognitions from different award-giving bodies.

"Having been critically acclaimed and a great success for BBC America, it comes as no surprise that this unique series has sparked interest amongst broadcasters from all over the world," Dempsey said in a statement.

The international promotion of Orphan Black comes after the company finished its BBC Worldwide Showcase, an event that attracted 725 delegates from several advertising and tech companies from all over the world.

"We've had a phenomenal response to our 38th annual Showcase in Liverpool with many first time attendees including Google Play and DirecTV, making this flagship event for British TV exports the most global yet. We have a great slate of new titles across every genre and are delighted to be hosting some superb talent over the four days of the event."

Orphan Black from BBC America will be back for a second season on April this year. A lot of spoilers have been shared by casts and directors, making it more painful to wait for fans. For those who haven't seen the renowned clone-themed series, you still got around two months.

With the way Orphan Black is getting attention, fans are hoping that it will be renewed for a third season. That is very likely to happen but..we'll see.
