The Miley Cyrus naked prom proposal from a regular high school student immediately went viral a week after its YouTube upload. In the video, Arizona-based teenager Matt Peterson decided to be courageous just so he could ask the former Disney star to be his prom date.

Armed with a giant foam finger and a bouquet of red roses, the naked Peterson asked Liam Hemsworth's ex-girlfriend if she could go out with him. With over 600 thousand views, the Miley Cyrus naked prom proposal video reached the 'So Undercover' actress.

Last Saturday, Cyrus wittily responded to Peter's video through her Twitter page:

"Dear Matt Peterson, I don't think I'll be able to make it to prom BUT why don't you come to my AZ show & hang w me? Don't forget a corsage."

Unfortunately, the 'One Last Song' actress couldn't be with Peterson on May 3 because of her Arizona'Bangerz' tour. Nonetheless, the fact that she responded to the Miley Cyrus naked prom proposal video was more than enough for the starry-eyed teenager.

"I need a tounge tuxedo made by this 27^th. THIS IS THE BEST DAY OF MY WHOLE ENTIRE LIFE! !! #mileyprom," tweeted Peterson

Cyrus' 'Bangerz' tour officially starts on February 16 in Tacoma, Wash. It will have a stop in Phoenix, Arizona on February 27.
