Taylor Lautner's girlfriend Maria Avgeropoulos might be mature at age 27 but it does not stop her from showing her love for the 21-year-old 'Twilight' actor. Last February 3, the 'Tracers' stars have been seen holding hands while on a dinner date in Los Angeles, California.

Lautner even opened the car door for his lady love who was more than delighted to have the simple and low-profile date. According to one of Hollywood Life's insiders, Lautner is determined to keep his love life away from the glare of publicity.

"Marie and Taylor are totally in love. Taylor's crazy about her, they spend pretty much all their free time together. He's been extremely careful about keeping their relationship out of the spotlight because he's had problems with that in the past, like when he dated Taylor Swift. He knows that too much attention can ruin even the best relationships so he's very protective of what he and Marie have," says the source.

Even the friends of the 'Abducted' hunk are surprised that he was able to keep things stable for a long time: "None of us expected Taylor to get into a serious relationship right now because he's so focused on his career but Marie really fits him like a glove. She's like the girl version of him - she's super competitive and a total tomboy and he loves that about her."

Avgeropoulos reportedly does martial arts and prefers take-out over glamorous dates and these are some of the things which made Lautner crazy for her. The two started dating after meeting on the set of 'Tracers'.

This is not the first time for Lautner to date a co-star for in 2011, he likewise had a short romance with his 'Abduction' co-star Lily Collins.
