Upcoming Android Phones 2014:5.5" Oppo Find 7 Launch Date Confirmed On March 19 In China, Allegedly Packs QHD Display, Quad-Core CPU, Snapdragon 800
If you are looking for upcoming Android phones in 2014 that would not cost you your savings, then you better be ready for Oppo's newest handset - the Find 7.
Teased for the past couple of months, the Oppo Find 7 is a successor of the popular Find 5 which was released a year ago. Knowing Oppo, it would not be satisfied with just a few tweaks and upgrades here and there. As a result, the unannounced Find 7 is turning out to be one heck of an Android monster, but with a much cheaper price.
Now, a new report claims that it has discovered the actual release date for the Android-powered handset. According to a report by GSM Arena, the Oppo device will be officially launched on March 19 at the Art district in Beijing. The event will start at 7PM (UTC+8).
So how did they know the exact release date, place and time of the event without Oppo publishing those details?
In the report, Oppo posted a picture in Chinese micro-blogging site Weibo, where an insider deciphered the hints and came up with the specific details.
During the past months, we have seen a number of rumored specs for the upcoming Oppo flagship. These alleged specs include a 5.5-inch screen with QHD or 2K (2560 x 1440) display, a Snapdragon 800 or 805 chipset, and Adreno 330 for maximum graphics performance.
Of course, all of these are not confirmed so you may want to take them all with a grain of salt.
Pricing and international availability details for the device are still blurry right now, but we'll keep you posted.
