Emma Watson's boyfriend Matthew Janney might be a new addition to the 'Harry Potter' star's life but it does not mean that he doesn't hold an important place for the 23-year-old actress was reportedly seen searching for an apartment in Manhattan's Upper East Side.

As per My Daily's report, Emma Watson's boyfriend Matthew Janney has inspired the 'Perks of Being a Wallflower' actress to look for an impressive property. NY Daily News claims that the British actress has fallen in love with a pre-war condominium where apartments typically cost $15 million. Will the new couple live together in the upscale residence?

Though their relationship is fairly new following Watson's split with millionaire's son Will Adamowicz, Janney's second mother Coralie Day will be more than thrilled to meet the brunette beauty.

 "We are thrilled to bits that he is seeing Emma Watson. We are looking forward to meeting her soon. Hats off to her for finding such a wonderful young man. There is nothing bad anyone could say about Matt. He is absolutely lovely," said Day.

Day and her husband unofficially became Janney's guardians when her biological mother died in 2008 because of breast cancer. His father similarly passed away when he was a toddler.

Apart from being Watson's schoolmate in Oxford University, the 21-year-old Janney is also a star rugby athlete in the campus. Named as one of the university's eligible bachelors, Janney is currently taking up a languages course.
