Justin Theroux and fiancee Jennifer Aniston's breakup rumors has hit an all-time high after he failed to celebrate her 45th birthday in Los Angeles on Tuesday and spent the former "Friends" star's special day in New York instead. This came on the heels of reports that their couples therapy failed.

MailOnline noted that when Justin Theroux turned 42 over the summer, his fiancee Jennifer Aniston gave time (and money!) to gift him with a lavish celebration. When it's Jennifer Aniston's turn to celebrate her birthday, he was filming his newest show HBO's "The Leftovers" instead.

But he did send him balloons of various shapes and colors, so there's that.

According to IMDB.com, Justin Theroux plays the character of Kevin Garvey in "The Leftovers" which chronicles the life of the Rapture survivor in the suburbs of Mapleton. The story follows their lives after the disappearance of more than 100 people.

The Star, however, insists that separation is just a matter of time since Justin Theroux reportedly "dumped" the former "Friends" star after therapy went awry.

"They were doing couples therapy twice a week before the Cabo trip, but since then Justin's refused to go anymore...He felt like they were just going around in circles with no end result, so he decided it was a waste of time," the source told Star.

But the same source also claimed that it's not entirely Jennifer Aniston's fault as Justin Theroux left the relationship "open-ended."

"She can barely eat, and she calls Courteney [Cox] in tears at all hours, asking 'What's wrong with me.' She just doesn't understand why she can't keep a guy long-term...Justin's left the relationship open-ended, but she really feels like she's been dumped," the publication reported.

On the eve of her birthday, Jennifer Aniston joined The Makers Conference in Palos Verdes, California. And she even interviewed Gloria Steinem, said MailOnline, where she chimed in about how women are seen by society.

"Being in the public eye, us women come up against this, that our value and worth is dependent on our marital status and or if we've procreated," Jennifer Aniston said.
