We are reaching a point of no return for the Samsung Galaxy S5 release date as the manufacturer itself teased a number of Galaxy S5 UI icons for its press invitation.

In a report by GSM Arena, Samsung included nine application icons which would probably be included in the upcoming flagship.

However, what's more interesting is the superscript 5 at the top of each icon, further confirming reports that the Galaxy S5 would certainly the central attraction in Samsung's event.

So far, the Android-powered handset is shaping up to be the top flagship device in the smartphone competition. It allegedly packs a QHD or 2K (2560 x 1440) display, 3GB of RAM, either an octa-core Exynos or Snapdragon 800 chipset, and a surprising 20MP camera at the back.

Samsung's Unpacked event would take place during the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona on February 24. We will keep you posted for more details regarding this event.
