Upcoming LG Phones 2014: Alleged G2 Mini Appears In Tweet, Specs Include 4.7" HD Display, Snapdragon 400, Android 4.4 KitKat

There are already a number of exciting upcoming LG phones this 2014, one of which include the newly-announced G Pro 2. But if your budget is a little tight, then you may want to see this.

A couple of years ago, Samsung started the 'mini' revolution with the Galaxy S3 mini, and then HTC went for its own in its next flagship - the One mini. Sony has recently joined the 'mini war' with its Xperia Z1 Compact, though as far as we're concerned, it's not 'mini' specwise.

Now, LG may be planning to launch its own mini smartphone, this one based on its current flagship, the G2.

According to a report by GSM Arena, several details were posted on Twitter about the alleged mini device.

In the report, the LG G2 mini allegedly sports a 4.7-inch screen with HD (720p) display, Snapdragon 400 chipset, 2GB of RAM, and Android 4.4 KitKat.

Those are certainly 'mini specs' by today's standards, and it may be able to go head to head with the current minis in the market such as the Galaxy S4 mini and the HTC One mini.

We'll keep you posted once this LG device becomes official.
