Upcoming Nokia Phones 2014: Nokia Icon (A.K.A.) Lumia 929 Hits Verizon Stores On February 20, Boasts 5" Full HD Screen, Snapdragon 800, 2GB RAM, 20MP Rear Camera

If there is one of the many upcoming Nokia phones in 2014 fans are excited about, it is the Nokia Icon.

Also known as the Lumia 929, this Windows Phone-powered handset has been in the rumor mill for too long. A month ago, its specs were all over the place. Even a Chinese retailer has managed to get its hands on the device and showcase it briefly on its website.

But now, it is official - the Nokia device will hit Verizon Wireless beginning February 20.

According to a report by GSM Arena, pricing for the Icon will begin at $199.99 for a two-year contract. However, for customers who are planning to get it off-contract, there are no specific pricing details yet, but we're pretty sure it would not go beyond $700.

In case you have missed the dozens of rumors which have surrounded the Lumia 929 over the past few months, then here's a quick review of what you would expect.

The Nokia Icon packs a 5-inch ClearBlack AMOLED display with Full HD (1920 x 1080) resolution, a quad-core CPU clocked at 2.2GHz, a Snapdragon 800 chipset, 2GB of RAM, and a 32GB internal storage. Unfortunately, there are no microSD card slots so storage expansion would not be possible.

The device also packs a 20MP PureView camera at the back which is perfect for phone photography enthusiasts.

So is the Lumia 929 good enough for you?
