"House of Cards" season 2 release date is tomorrow on Valentine's Day! Watch the "House of Cards" season 2 premiere tomorrow on Netflix to catch Kevin Spacey as the powerhouse that is Francis Underwood.

TIME magazine describes season 2 as "the same show you saw last season, the same weaknesses and strengths intact," but "every bit as brutal and sanguinary."

The full second season of "House of Cards" goes live on Netflix at 3:01 a.m. ET on Feb. 14

Kevin Spacey has said fans are "really digging" Netflix's decision to release the political drama's season 2 all at once, Metro UK reports.

Spacey told Digital Spy: "We didn't start bingeing but I think we are of course the first series that's ever given away entire seasons at one time, and I think it goes to say how much an audience is really digging being in control and being able to treat a series the way they treat a novel; pick it up when they want to pick it up and put it down when they want to put it down."

According to SFGate, Kevin Spacey spoke of his character Francis Underwood, and described him as an enigma.

"That's the interesting thing about Francis: He has no allegiance, not even to party...There is so much I don't know about Francis, so much that I'm learning...I've always thought that the profession closest to that of an actor is being a detective. We are given clues by writers, sometimes clues they're aware of and sometimes not. Then you lay them all out and try to make them come alive as a character who's complex and surprising, maybe even to yourself."

"House of Cards," an adaptation of the BBC miniseries with the same name, follows Francis Underwood, the House Majority Whip in the United States Congress. According to ScreenRant.com, the press release describes Francis as "the politician's politician - masterful, beguiling, charismatic and ruthless." Francis and his wife Claire (Robin Wright) will stop at nothing to get to the top and stay there.
