LG G2 Mini review, release date: Android-powered compact version of the LG flagship will officially arrive at the end of this month, as the South Korean tech giant has unveiled images of the upcoming smartphone.

According to NDTV, the smartphone will feature a 4.7-inch display and will run on a Snapdragon 800 processor with 2GB of RAM. There have been some speculations that it could be a 4.3-inch handset with qHD display.

LG officially unveiled the LG G2 Mini, posting a teaser image of the handset on their Facebook Page, depicting the object in pairs, one big and one small. The final image clearly shows the LG G2 and a smaller smartphone beside it.

“Experience the MINI. Mobile World Congress. 2014-02-24.”, was the text that accompanied the teaser image on Facebook. The copy clearly signifies that the LG G2 Mini will be announced on February 24.

Aside from the LG G2 Mini, the LG G2 Pro is also expected to be launched at the MWC. The upcoming device was officially confirmed by the company’s social newsroom, with an unspecified February launch date. No details of the LG G2 Pro have been released but it’s expected to have a Full HD display, 2.26GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor, Adreno 330 graphics, 3GB of RAM, and 32GB of internal storage.

The LG G2 Pro is also expected to feature a 13MP camera and to run on Android 4.4 KitKat. With the release of these the devices, the LG G2 will officially have three variants. In a report last year, LG confirmed that it has no plans for an LG G2 Google Play Edition.
