Dell Venue 11 Pro Review: Specs Of 10.8-inch Windows 8.1 Tablet Incl. Full HD Display, 2GB RAM & 64GB Solid State Drive; Atom-Powered Machine Has Admirable Performance

Dell Venue 11 Pro review: Specs of the 10.8-inch Windows 8.1 tablet include Full HD display, 2 GB RAM and starts at 64GB solid state drive. CNET describe it’s screen as “excellent,” a similar label to its impressive battery life. A reviewer from V3 UK notes that the removable battery of the unit is another big selling point.

The base model of the Dell Venue 11 Pro begins at 64GB with an Intel Atom quad-core processor, with higher-end variants at 128GB with Core i3. The 64GB version is priced at $499.99, while the 128GB unit is at $799.99. The highest-end unit, priced at $849.99 has an Intel Core i5 processor. All of the units have solid state drive.

A downside of the unit cited by CNET is that keyboard dock, which is sold separately, suffers from occasional lag and it has a tiny touch pad. The cheapest variation of the Dell Venue 11 Pro is also more expensive than other tablets or hybrids. V3 UK cites as a negative the display, which it cites as mediocre. It also possesses an unsuitable keyboard dock angle and there are software glitches that hinders good user experience.

On the other hand, V3 UK says that that the removable battery (cited earlier), the tablet’s range of accessories, optional mobile data and clear focus on business users are some of the Dell Venue 11’s positives.

Overall, CNET notes that the Full HD display that the Dell Venue 11 Pro have justifies its higher price compared to other tablets powered by the same Intel Atom quad-core processor. The device’s keyboard dock add-on, which makes this a functional laptop alternative is too expensive and can also be frustrating to use.
