Katy Perry released a video tease for her new single "Dark Horse." Katy Perry plays an Egyptian queen named Katy Patra, who has a killer love and some heavily decorated teeth. Katy Perry's Cleopatra, well, Katy-Patra, will rule the modern ancient world.

Katy put out the teaser on Feb. 13 showing off her fantasy hair and makeup as proscribed in an ancient scroll. "According to legend there was a magic queen in Memphis, Egypt. Every eclipse, kids would travel from Brooklyn to Babylon to win her heart. If she fell in love, you'd be top dawg. If she didn't, her wrath would leave you whimpering. Her name is Katy Pätra."

Katy Perry and Juicy J's "Dark Horse" topped the charts at No. 1 where it has stayed for the three straight weeks. It is the third single off Perry's "Prism" album.

The new single features rapper Juicy J, who told MTV News that Perry is "really a genius. She was by the mixing board and telling the guy what to take in and take out. She's really hands-on with her music. She knows music."
