Install Official Android 4.3 Jelly Bean Update On Samsung Galaxy S4; LTE Variant Receives XXUENAA Firmware; Available Via OTA Notification In Russia And Switzerland

Users of Samsung Galaxy S4 can now install official Android 4.3 Jelly Bean update on their smartphone.

The South Korean manufacturer recently rolled out a new Android 4.3 Jelly Bean update using stock firwmare I9505XXUENAA. The latest and official Android 4.3 Jelly Bean update is available for the international version of Samsung Galaxy S4, bearing the model number GT-I9505.

According to International Business Times, Samsung Galaxy S4 LTE users who wish to install official Android 4.3 Jelly Bean update can do so by accessing the firmware through Over-The-Air update. Moreover, the device can also be updated to official Android 4.3 Jelly Bean update via the Samsung KIES server tool.

Particularly, the update is currently rolling out in various European countries, according to Droid Report. Samsung Galaxy S4 LTE users in Switzerland, Baltic and Russia should have the OTA update by now.

However, since the I9505XXUENAA Android 4.3 Jelly Bean update is an unbranded firmware, it can be installed on any Samsung Galaxy S4 that are factory unlocked, irregardless of the region or the country. Aside from using the OTA update or the Samsung KIES desktop tool, Samsung Galaxy S4 LTE users can also opt for the manual installation process.
