"Super Smash Bros. 4" Wii U and 3DS release date is set to happen this year.

The game company, Nintendo, recently confirmed that Super Smash Bros. 4 Wii U and 3DS release date will be set at some point this 2014. Moreover, as posted on Examiner, citing the press release  issued by Nintendo, Super Smash Bros. 4 Wii U and 3DS release date will launch on various retail shops. During its launch day, the game will also be available as a digital download  on the Nintendo eShop.

The CEO of the company, Satoru Iwata, stated during the most recent Nintendo Direct video presentation that the Super Smash Bros. 4 for Wii U and 3DS consoles will be released later this year. It was then confirmed in a press release. It reads:

"The game will launch in stores and in the Nintendo eShop on Wii U and Nintendo 3DS in 2014."

The game director of the game, Masahiro Sakurai, has also said before that Super Smash Bros. 4 Wii U, 3DS release date is expected to be slated at some point this 2014. He particularly stated,

"The new Super Smash Bros. games are expected to be released sometime in 2014. We're still working on beefing them up even more so please stay tuned."

 Meanwhile, according to Latin Post, three new characters will be part of the game - Little Mac, Mega Man and Villager from Animal Crossing. To attack the opponents, Little Mac from Punch-Out unleashes a flurry of punches and his signature move.

Nintendo has yet to provide a more specific Super Smash Bros. 4 Wii U, 3DS release date. Moreover, further details and pricing information for the game has not been released yet.
