Biggest Loser Winner Rachel Frederickson Pushed Herself Too Far Because She Wanted To Please People? ‘Maybe I Was A Little Too Enthusiastic,’ Said Champion

'Biggest Loser' winner Rachel Frederickson faced criticism after losing too much weight. While shedding pounds is ultimately each contestant's goal, many deemed Frederickson's transformation as "too much".

From her original weight of 260 pounds, the 24-year-old brunette went down to 105 pounds. For the first time, 'Biggest Loser' winner Rachel Frederickson admits that perhaps she has taken things way too far.

"Maybe I was a little too enthusiastic in my training to get to the finale. I trained like an athlete for the finale. Now I am a girl in her real life," she told People magazine. As per the 'Biggest Loser' winner, she strictly followed six hours of fitness regimen each day and maintained a calorie diet which didn't exceed 1,600 calories.

Despite her extreme weight loss, Frederickson has no regrets: "I've officially found that proud, confident girl that I lost. I was an athletic national-level swimmer, and to have that athlete come back again, it's just truly an amazing feeling and I'm going to embrace the new me and continue this journey."

Even if viewers of the famed weight loss contest speculated that Frederickson was battling with an eating disorder, executive producer Dave Broome assured that Frederickson passed all the mandatory medical tests after the contest.

When asked if she's suffering from an eating disorder, the Minnesota-based winner didn't directly answer but confirmed her state: "I am very, very healthy."
