Craigslist Killer: A Pennsylvania woman who was accused of meeting a man on Craigslist and killing him with her husband's help told a local newspaper that said she killed "more than 22 people" for Satan.

Craigslist killer Miranda Barbour, 19, and her husband, Elytte Barbour, will face the death penalty for killing Troy LaFerrara, a 42-year-old man she met on Craigslist. 

According to the police affidavit, Miranda Barbour told police she would use Craigslist to meet "men who wanted companionship" for money. She met LaFerrara at a mall on November 11. Miranda picked him up in her red Honda CR-V and drove to Sunbury. Elytte Barbour was hiding under a blanket in the back seat. The couple had a pre-arranged signal so Elytte would know when "it was time to kill the victim."

Police said that Elytte Barbour, 22, told investigators the couple are members of a satanic cult. On Sunday, the FBI said it was in contact with local police.

In an email, FBI spokeswoman Carrie Adamowski, told the Los Angeles Times "the FBI's Philadelphia division has recently been in contact with the Sunbury Police Department regarding Miranda Barbour and will offer any assistance requested in the case."

In a jailhouse interview with The Daily Item in Sunbury, Miranda Barbour said she killed at least 22 other people as a part of her involvement with a satanic cult. Barbour told the paper that the November murder was the couple's first. Miranda Barbour, 19, said she considered sparing LaFerrara's life.

Barbour told The Daily Item "I remember everything. It is like watching a movie." Miranda Barbour said she wants to plead guilty to killing Troy LaFerrara in November.

According to prosecutors Miranda Barbour lured LaFerrara to the car at a mall near Harrisburg, about 50 miles south of Sunbury, while Elytte Barbour hid under a blanket in the back of the car. Police say Miranda gave her husband a signal and he strangled LaFerrara with a cord while she stabbed him about 20 times. Police said the couple just wanted to kill someone together. The couple was married for three weeks.

Barbour told the paper she would have let LaFerrara go, but after she told him she was just 16, he said he still wanted to go forward with their pay-for-sex arrangement.

Barbour said "If he would have said no, that he wasn't going to go through with the arrangement, I would have let him go."

The police were led to the Barbours becase theris was the the last number LaFerrara dialed on his cell phone. Miranda Barbour first denied knowing the victim but confessed after more evidence was presented.

In the interview with the Daily Item in Sunbury, Pa., Miranda Barbour said she has killed at least 22 other people from Alaska to North Carolina over the past six years as part of her involvement in a satanic cult.

Barbour said "I feel it is time to get all of this out. I don't care if people believe me. I just want to get it out."

Miranda Barbour told the newspaper the couple killed people in Alaska, Texas, North Carolina and California. Barbour said she "stopped counting" at 22 victims.
