Cheap Android Phones 2014: Samsung Gadget Spam Continues As Company Launches Entry-Level Handset In Korea, Packs 4.7" Display, Dual-Core CPU, 5MP Shooter

There are a number of cheap Android phones for 2014, most of which are from Chinese brands that pack decent specs and features. But in case you are looking for a device from a company that has a household name, Samsung offers a number of great options as well.

One of these affordable handsets is the Galaxy Core Advance.

The tech giant announced the Galaxy Core Advance late last year, but it is only recently that the company is ready to release the device in the market, and unsurprisingly, Korea gets it first.

According to the report by GSM Arena, the Android-powered handset is aimed at the mass market due to its affordable price tag. It costs KRW 410,300 or about €280 ($383).

While the pricing is a bit on the cheaper side, the phone packs a number of midrange specs. The Galaxy Core Advance has a 4.7-inch WVGA screen, a dual-core 1.2GHz processor, 1GB of RAM, and 8GB of internal memory.

The handset also comes with the usual connectivity features such as GPS, Wi-Fi, HSPA, NFC and Bluetooth, and a capable 5-megapixel camera.

As you can see, the Galaxy Core Advance is certainly a decent smartphone that can perform the usual tasks a casual user needs to do. Unfortunately, international availability details are not yet confirmed.
