Upcoming Nokia Phones 2014: Android-Running Nokia X A110 Almost Confirmed For MWC Launch As Hinted By Manufacturer's Teaser Images

There are a number of upcoming Nokia phones in 2014 which are already under way, one of which is the Nokia Icon for Verizon and the recently launched Lumia 1320. But there's also the Android-powered Normandy.

If you are already getting sick and tired of all these rumors about the Nokia X, then here's good news - this might be the last rumor we read before the device's launch next week.

In a recent report by GSM Arena, the Finnish manufacturer posted teaser images on its account on Chinese microblogging platform Weibo. The images include a tree with its roots making the 'X' shape, and a map with an 'X' mark.

Aside from the hints, some text is included to show that the images were developed for marketing purposes. The text gives away the date and exact time of the launch, February 24, 15:30 (8:30 local time in Barcelona)

While both images do not exactly mention the Nokia X, these hints are already making us more excited about Nokia's first and probably last Android-powered handset.

In case you have not been keeping up with the rumors, the Nokia Normandy is expected to boast a 4-inch screen with WVGA resolution, 512MB of RAM, a dual-core CPU, 5MP camera, and Android 4.4 KitKat out of the box.
