Happy Wheels iOS App Release Set For First Quarter 2014; Upcoming Version Allows Gamers To Play User-Made And Default Levels

Happy Wheels iOS app release is expected to happen early this year.

According to Fancy Force, the company behind Happy Wheels, the estimated time of arrival for the iOS app version of the game is at some point during the 1st quarter of the year. Moreover, the company is currently hard at work to make the game available in the Apple App Store. Check out the tweet below:

Furthermore, as a response to an inquiry via Twitter, Fancy Force also shared that aside from the default game levels, players will be able to utilize as well as user-made levels. Initially, however, Happy Wheels iOS players will not be able to import levels made in Flash.

Fancy Force previously revealed that there will be a basic level editor available in the Happy Wheels iOS app, which will be updated upon after the release.

The gameplay for the Happy Wheels iOS app will basically be similar as the original online version of the ragdoll physics-based game. The huge difference, however, is the controls since iOS devices do not have keyboards. The post on Wikia page reads,

After the release of the Happy Wheels iOS app, the development of the Android version will immediately begin, as posted on its Wikia page. "the character will be controlled via on-screen buttons." Happy Wheels iOS app will support Game Center and iCade Controller.

Another difference of the Happy Wheels iOS app from the original version is that the former will run at 60 fps, compared to the latter, which only runs at 30 frames per second.
