Brad Pitt & Angelina Jolie Arrived In Matching Outfits For 2014 BAFTA Awards; Couple Celebrates ’12 Years A Slave’ Big Win Defying ‘Gravity’

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie is truly the epitome of Hollywood's Power Couple, as the engaged couple arrived in 2014 BAFTA Awards in matching tuxedo outfits.

The couple celebrated with the rest of the cast and crew of "12 Years A Slave" as the film bagged the highest honor from the Awards Night - Best Film.

Michael Fassbender happily recalled, while with regrouping with the rest of the present cast and crew at Grosvenor House, the old set socials as he prepared himself for receipt of a canapé missile: "We went paint balling. I got shot point blank - it looked like I had hickies all over my face."

However, the movie director, Steve McQueen excused himself from the celebration, explaining that "I'm old, I need my sleep!"

But, the British director received the best film trophy for 12 Years a Slave, and thanked his "one and only mother for having the faith - never give up."

"Right now there are 21 million people in slavery. I just hope that 150 years from now our ambivalence will not allow another film-maker to make this film," he added.

British actor Chiwetel Ejiofor, who was nominated for the Bafta rising star award seven years ago, won the best actor award for his role as Solomon Northup in 12 Years a Slave, accepted his award from "Pulp Fiction" actress Uma Thurman.

He said he was "so deeply honoured and privileged to receive it," thanking McQueen for his "artistry and passion."

"This is yours, by the way, I know that, you know that. I'm going to keep it but it's yours," he quipped.

2014 BAFTA Awards held at  The Royal Opera House on Sunday (February 16) in London, England was dominated by Sandra Bullock's film "Gravity," garnering six awards, while "12 Years A Slave," scooped the coveted Best Film award.

The space drama film stared by Bullock and George Clooney was named the best British film together with other prizes including visual effects, cinematography, best sound and original music, while Alfonso Cuaron won best director.
