‘Supernatural’ Season 9 Spoilers: Spinoff Casts ‘Vampire Diaries’ Actor Nathaniel Buzolic, ‘New Story, New Journey!’ He Tweets; ‘Skins’ Actor Also Cast

The latest "Supernatural" season 9 spoilers reveal that the spinoff has cast two new actors: one from "Vampire Diaries" and another from "Skins." Who will they play in the "Supernatural" spinoff, which will air after the April 29 episode of season 9?

The "Supernatural" spinoff, called "Supernatural: Tribes," has cast two of its leads: Aussie actor Nathaniel Buzolic, who played Klaus' brother Kol on "The Vampire Diaries" in season 4, and British actor Lucien Laviscount, who has been in "Skins" and "Coronation Street," according to Entertainment Weekly.

Buzolic took to Twitter to comment on the news going public: "@justjaredjr @ItsLucien looks like it's official! New story, new journey! #Supernatural #tribes"

What characters will Nathaniel Buzolic and Lucien Laviscount play in "Supernatural: Tribes"?

Laviscount will play Ennis Roth, a police academy trainee whose fiancée is killed in the crossfire of the monster war. Roth "learns the truth about what lurks in the shadows and becomes a monster-hunter himself," EW reports.

Buzolic, meanwhile, will play David Hayden, a shapeshifter from one of Chicago's ruling monster families who has been living as a human, "having given up the monster life years ago."

The upcoming CW series "Tribes" is described as a "sweeping drama about the various mafia-esque monster families that unknowingly-to-humans 'run' the underbelly of Chicago and who are being tracked by a newly-minted Hunter who's trying to stop them and rid Chicago of anything or anyone supernatural."

The pilot will air as an embedded episode of "Supernatural" on April 29.
