Geeksphone Revolution That Lets You Switch Between Android And Firefox OS Now Available, Specs Include 4.7" IPS Display, Intel Atom CPU, 1GB RAM, 8MP Shooter

Geeksphone Revolution: If you are the type of smartphone user who always want something new from your device, then what if you can get two operating systems in one handset? The Geeksphone Revolution device will allow you to do just that.

After getting announced a month ago, the Geeksphone Revolution is now available internationally through shipping and costs €222, according to a report from GSM Arena

The first time we saw the Revolution was at the Mobile World Congress last year, and it provided anticipation for a crowd of bloggers and experts who were looking for something new.

However, in spite its promising premise of dual-OS capabilities, it was easily overshadowed by a clunky Firefox operating system and slow app switching. Fortunately, the Spanish phone maker has ironed out those issues as the phone can now be bought internationally.

The Geeksphone Revolution reportedly has the ability to switch from Android to Firefox OS and vice versa with just a simple '1-touch system'. In addition, previous reports also claim that the device can run other mobile platforms, though the company is still conducting tests before those are included in the phone's list of operating systems.

In case you are wondering, the Geeksphone Revolution still boasts some decent specs which include a 4.7-inch IPD display, an Intel Atom CPU clocked at 1.6GHz, 1GB of RAM, 4GB of internal memory, a microSD card slot, an 8-megapixel camera at the back, a 1.3MP front-facing snapper, and 2,000mAh of battery.
