Android 4.4 Kit Kat Release Date To Roll Out Shortly To AT&T And T-Mobile HTC One Devices, Expected To Provide Camera Improvements, Option To Turn BlinkFeed Off

Android 4.4 Kit Kat release date: If you are among the owners of HTC One devices for AT&T and T-Mobile, then this is great news for you all.

According to a recent report from Android Authority, an HTC executive himself tweeted that the latest Android Kitkat version will soon be rolling out to HTC One devices for AT&T and T-Mobile.

Mo Versi, HTC's Executive Director for product management, personally tweeted the arrival of technical approval of both carriers for the roll out of the Android Kitkat and Sense 5.5 update. 

It's only been a few weeks since Sprint and Verizon got their KitKat update for the HTC One, and considering the process of release, the update for AT&T and T-Mobile should come in very shortly.

In the report, Android Kitkat will provide a number of improvements for the HTC One including Sense 5.5, option to turn off the BlinkFeed feature, and enhanced camera features among others.

The update is also just in time before HTC finally unveils the One successor, dubbed as the "All New One".
