House Of Cards Season 2 Spoiler: Kate Mara Drops The Biggest Spoiler To Date, What Will Happen To Her Character?

House of Cards Season 2 has just returned to Netflix on February 14 and has definitely caused a huge buzz because of its intense episodes. Many people binged watched the entire season. Now, they are very excited for the third. For those who haven't seen the new season of the political drama, read at your own risk. Proceed if you have that great ability of enduring spoilers.

Talking to MTV.com Kate Mara, the actress who plays the ambitious journalist Zoe Barnes, dropped what could be the biggest spoiler of the show up to this date. Also, what she said could also be the biggest secret she kept from friends and families.

Zoe Barnes is pushed in front of a frickin' subway car by Frank Underwood (played by Kevin Spacey) and dies a million times. Turn out, Mara knew about Barnes' faith almost two years ago.

"I knew before I even read for the role," said Mara to MTV's Josh Horowitz.

"Fincher said to me, 'The great news is that I really would like you to play her ... the bad news is you're only going to last until episode one in season two.' "

"A few of my family members have said to me, 'What did you do?'" the 30-year old American actress said with a smile.

'What did you say to the writers that they did this to you? Were you a bitch or something?'... I've just been lying to people for two years now."

Although short-lived, Mara gave a good account of herself in the show and for that, she said that she was excited to be killed off.

"I know myself and I get a little bit antsy ... I get bored, even if the show is amazing" - even if her fans weren't.

"I got so many #wtf tweets. That was the most popular thing that people were saying," she said. "It was such a crazy thing to start the season off with, and we hoped it would be a big deal."

Do you think her characters should be killed? Let us know.
