Dancing With The Stars Season 18 Abandons Brooke Burke-Charvet Before Cast Announcement, Cee Lo Green Leaving The Voice Before Season 6: Will Jewel Join The Judges?

It's been a tumultuous week for reality talent shows, with "Dancing with the Stars" season 18 starting without Brooke Burke-Charvet and Cee Lo Green leaving "The Voice" prior to season 6.

"I have enjoyed seven seasons co-hosting ['Dancing with the Stars'] but understand the need for change considering the position of the show at this juncture," says Brooke Burke-Charvet in a statement according to E! Online.

"I've always been one to embrace change and looking forward to pursuing opportunities I previously wasn't able to entertain because of contractual obligations to the show. I've seen my fair share of shocking eliminations in the ballroom but this one takes the cake."

"Dancing with the Stars" season 18 is set to premiere on March 17, continuing with its new one-night format.

The cast of "Dancing with the Stars" season 18 will be confirmed on March 4 via a special edition of "Good Morning America."

But this isn't the only reality TV shake-up viewers can look forward to.

Recently, Cee Lo Green has confirmed to be leaving "The Voice" prior to the premiere of season 6.

"I'm not coming back at all," says Cee Lo Green on the Ellen Degeneres Show. "I just don't want to wear out my welcome there, you know what I'm saying? I have so many other things that I want to do. I haven't released an album in four years. I'm almost done with my album."

And recently, one person who is vying for the judges team is Jewel, who recently judged "The Sing-Off."

"Probably me is the best answer. You know, that's the best person I can think of!" responds Jewel to who should replace Cee Lo Green on "The Voice."

"I love 'The Voice.' I got to be a mentor on 'The Voice' and I really like what they do. I really like that the talent gets to be mentored."
