Upcoming LG Phones 2014: Samsung Rival Unleashes G Pro 2 Sidekicks, LG F70 Packs 4.5" WVGA Screen, F90 Features 4.7" qHD Display

Upcoming LG phones 2014: LG may have recently announced the G Pro 2, but that does not stop the Korean manufacturer from releasing more devices at its press event during the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona.

According to a report from Android Authority, LG has just unveiled two midrange smartphones which would serve as the sidekick of the flagship G Pro 2.

First up is the LG F70, which packs a 4.5-inch WVGA screen, a 1.2GHz dual-core processor, 4GB of internal storage, a 5MP camera at the back, 2,200mAh of battery and Android 4.4 KitKat out of the box.

While the F70 could be a lower midrange smartphone, its bigger sibling, the F90 is certainly a midrange devicce as far as specs are concerned. The Android-powered handset boasts a 4.7-inch screen with qHD or 960 x 540 resolution, quad-core CPU, 4GB of internal memory, an 8-megapixel camera, a microSD card slot, and Android 4.4 Kitkat.

One upside for the two fresh devices is that they both support LTE connectivity, one feature that is easily becoming common even in entry level and midrange smartphones.

So is any of these two LG handsets a potential purchase for you?
