Sony At MWC 2014: Xperia Z2 Now Available For Pre-Order In Europe Hours After Launch, Specs Include 5.2" 1080p Display, Quad-Core CPU, 3GB RAM, 20.7MP Shooter

Sony at MWC 2014: A few hours after getting officially announced at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, Sony's Xperia Z2 can now be taken for pre-order in Europe. 

According to a report by GSM Arena, the highly-anticipated Android handset is available in major markets in Europe. The Xperia flagship is reported to cost £600 or €730 in the United Kingdom. However, Clove UK sells the device £36 less, but units would only begin arriving in April. 

Meanwhile, Sony's website in Germany lists the device at only €600, while the Netherlands gets the device at €650. The Polish market is also set to get the Xperia Z2 for €672 or PLN 2,800.

Italy and Sweden would get the highest prices for the Sony handset, with possible retail costs coming up to €810.
