Upcoming Nokia Phones 2014: Android-Powered Normandy Reportedly Not Coming To The US, Canada, Korea And Japan

Upcoming Nokia Phones 2014: While the Nokia X, X+ and XL are all good-looking Android phones, there may be one thing about them that will surely disappoint mobile phone enthusiasts around the world.

The three smartphonees will not arrive to the US, Canada, Korea and Japan.

According to a report by GSM Arena, Nokia VP for mobile phone marketing Jussi Nevanlinna confirmed that the devices would not be able to make their way in the said markets.

"These are global products, which will be available pretty much everywhere except North America, Korea and Japan", Nevanlinna said.

When the Nokia X, X+ and XL were released a couple of days ago, we all agreed that they are priced to sell. And in an Android-driven smartphone world where price really matters, this is certainly a great move by the Finnish manufacturer.

The fact that the three devices will not come to the mentioned markets is probably because all these four countries are already developed, thus midrange and high-end phones are more popular in them.

Still, we may expect some retailers in the said countries to offer the three Android-powered handsets.
