Chris Brown ‘X’ Album Update: Ariana Grande Teases Collaboration On Twitter? Release Date Spring 2014 After Rehab Stint

The release date of Chris Brown's "X" album is just a few months away - will a collaboration with Ariana Grande and Usher be on Chris Brown's new album?

Chris Brown's "X" album will release May 5, 2014, according to Entertainmentwise. The release date has been repeatedly pushed back since 2013, due to various personal issues that Chris Brown faced. He was just recently released from a 90-day rehab stint.

But it looks like Chris Brown is back to work on his "X" album - rumors are circulating that Ariana Grande and Usher will collaborate with the "Loyal" singer.

Ariana Grande teased details of the new track on Twitter, after responding to a fan who asked what her favorite song is currently, DigitalSpy reports.

She said: "a song u haven't heard that is coming out in march."

Grande also re-tweeted a lyric posted by Chris Brown: "i dug a single seed into the ground, I hope it grows," to which she added: "in a year or two if you're around, you'll see a rose."

Sounds like the lyrics of a song they're working on together!

Grande's manager Scooter Braun wrote to her earlier on Twitter, saying: "that was an amazing session. Excited for this incredible duet on the way :)"

Meanwhile, Usher took to Instagram on Feb. 24 to share a photo of him posing in a car with Brown, aceshowbiz.com reports.

"Yep me and Chris Brown. What happens next....Stay tuned 'Loyal'," Usher captioned the black-and-white photograph.

Speculation is circulating that Usher and Brown are working on a remix of Brown's single "Loyal" from his upcoming album "X".

And in case collaborations with Ariana Grande and Usher aren't enough to get you excited for the "X" album, Chris Brown boldly wrote on Twitter: "'X' is by far my best album yet."
