Britney Spears’ Vegas show is officially a success! Her Las Vegas residency Britney: Piece Of Me at Planet Hollywood garnered a whopping $10.9 M to date according to Caesars Entertainment. ‘Britney Jean’ Las Vegas performance opened on December 27, 2013.

With the numbers in, it looks like the “Perfume” singer hasn’t lost her touch at all despite her recent lip sync scandals during her Vegas performance.

Last week, news broke out that Spears didn’t again (Yes, she did!). She was caught lip syncing again during her Vegas show.

Unfortunately for Brit-Brit, the lip syncing incident was caught on cam and was posted on an Instagram account of one of her fans.

Instagram user Sam Camberato (username samberato) posted the video on Tuesday last week with the hashtags: ”#britney forgets to sing #alien #pieceofme #vegas”

While this isn’t the first time Britney was caught lip-syncing, a lot of people shared their sentiments about the singer’s performance.

From the comments of the Instagram user Sam, Brit-Brit received several negative feedback from fans:
Instagram user brian7044 commented, “I can't believe people pay to see her! I saw in concert for and it still sucked!”

Twitter users also expressed their thoughts about the lip syncing scandal:

Despite Britney Spears lip sync scandal, many people still pay to see her perform. In fact, all her 16 performances from December 27 to February 22 were sold out with about 72,000 tickets sold total.

According to Keith Caulfield, associate director of charts of Billboards, Brit-Brit dominating Vegas shouldn’t be a surprised.

"It should be selling out," says Caulfield.

Jennifer Whitehair, Vegas.com content director, said that Spears’ residency in Vegas has been a consistent top-searched topic in the site.

"(Fans) really got what they wanted to see from her. It's a huge audience that's been underserved in Vegas for a while, this younger demographic, so you're going to continue to see interest in shows like Britney" and other "club-like" entertainment,” Whitehair said.
