Once Upon a Time in Wonderland, the spin-off of ABC's mega-hit fantasy drama Once Upon A Time, has been absent for more than two months now after airing its first eight episodes and when they return this March, the show's crew are looking for a strong return.

The show, which is about the modern take of Lewis Carroll fairytale classic Alice's Adventures in Wonderland, stars Sophie Lowe as Alice, Michael Socha as Knave of Hearts, Peter Gadiot as Cyrus, Emma Rigby as The Red Queen with Naveen Andrews as Jafar and John Lithgow as the voice of the White Rabbit.

The series will return on March 6 and to refresh the minds of the viewers, ABC released Once Upon A Time in Wonderland synopsis for their spring season.

In episode 9, which will be called 'Nothing to Fear,' Knave, who is now a genie, is released from the bottle by Lizard and will be given the chance to make her dreams come true with three wishes. On what those wishes are, that is something for you to know come the March 6. Alice, on the other hand, is with Cyrus and she is reluctant to work with the Red Queen to locate missing Knave. Jafar is also out somewhere and has already conquered the castle of Red Queen who is now captured by peasants who protested against her cruel government. Jafar is working with a fearful creature called the Jabberwocky who he plans to ally himself with on Once Upon a Time in Wonderland.

Episode 10, called 'Dirty Little Secrets,' will start with a flashback of Cyrus' younger years experiences that left his mother near death. Alice, Cyrus, The Knave and the Red Queen found each other and decided to split up into to two to capture Jabberwocky.

OUAT In Wonderland wasn't that successful as expected. Show's executives blame this to the strong competition and their decision to drop the original plan and air the spin-off on Sundays at midseason. Up to this day, ABC hasn't released any news about cancellation or extension. Maybe that will depend on how the season one's five remaining episodes will fare.
