It's been nearly one year since Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odom's divorce speculations surfaced. While the couple's marital woes have been publicized in the family's reality series 'Keeping up with the Kardashians', there is a possibility that the two will soon patch things up.

Even if the 34-year-old basketball player performed a rap last December 2013 pertaining to his alleged cheating on the 29-year-old brunette beauty, he might have regretted his actions already.

"I love my wife. She will always be my wife no matter what. Who knows? We don't know exactly [if we will end up getting divorced]. Only time will tell. I hope not. But even if we were divorced, she would always be my wife," Odom told Us Weekly.

His recent statement is a far cry from his claim last December when Kardashian filed for a divorce. As per TMZ, the NBA athlete told his friends that he wanted to get rid of his wife for she kept on bringing out his bad side.

He has likewise hinted about his mistakes in life: "We all have regrets, but the thing is to learn from life. There's no one in this room, no one in this world, who can say 'I'm mistake-free, I have made no mistakes.'"

Odom might be determined to have a fresh beginning. He has recently signed a contract in Spain wherein he would team up with a local basketball team.
