Godzilla' Trailer Starring Bryan Cranston Goes Viral: Watch The Preview Everyone Is Talking About

Fans of 'Breaking Bad' will be intrigued with the latest 'Godzilla' trailer featuring Bryan Cranston. The 2014 'Godzilla' trailer lasts for 2 minutes and 32 seconds. Cranston will be ditching his chemistry teacher character as he gives life to Joe Brody in the upcoming film remake.

"It wasn't an earthquake, it wasn't a typhoon because what's really happening is that you're hiding something out there," he says.

The trailer shows the city of New York in a devastated state. Even the city's glorious Statue of Liberty appears startled. Frightening music has been used to complement the terrifying scenes featured in the 'Godzilla' trailer.

"You have no idea what's coming. God help us all," Cranston says. The fear-provoking creature eventually comes out and though the movie is a remake, he appears larger and scarier than ever.

Fans of the 1954 Japanese classic film can't help but express their excitement.

"Stuck my earplugs in at work. Watched this 2nd trailer like child anxious to see Santa Claus. I grew up on monster films so I'm giddy with excitement about this film," says Tony Hall.

One netizen even used Cranston's character in 'Breaking Bad' as a witty reference: "Plot Twist: This is all a hallucination by Walter White from trying his own meth product."

Jacob Chaplin appreciates that the movie did not neglect its roots: "What makes me happy being a lifelong fan of all of Godzilla's classic films is that this is the best reboot or even sequel they can do! They have kept some classic views and made it into a new era type."

Apart from Cranston, the movie will likewise star Elizabeth Olsen, David Strathairn, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Juliette Binoche, Sally Hawkins, and Ken Watanabe.

'Godzilla' will officially hit theater screens on May 16.
