‘Bond 24’ News: Filming Will Start In October, But No Script Yet Ahead Of 2015 Release Date, Ralph Fiennes Says

In the latest "Bond 24" movie news, Ralph Fiennes revealed that filming for "Bond 24" will begin in October. Ralph Fiennes also added that he hasn't seen a script yet, though the release date for the upcoming James Bond film is in 2015.

"It's meant to start shooting in October," Ralph Fiennes told MTV News about "Bond 24."

Fiennes, who will replace Judi Dench's "M" after her exit from the franchise, revealed that he knows very little about the movie itself or his character, because he hasn't seen a script.

"I haven't read a script yet, so I can't tell you much," he said. "They'd probably swear me to secrecy anyway."

Fiennes previously told Reuters that he knows very little about "Bond 24" at the moment.

"I know nothing, I've not been told anything, I have no information, no dates, no sense of the journey of my character at all! I don't!" he said in December.

The 51-year-old British actor will play Gareth Mallory, a military vet-turned-Chairman of the Intelligence and Security Committee, IGN reports. He became the head of MI6 following the death of his predecessor, played by Judi Dench. Dench has portrayed "M" since 1995 and has appeared in seven James Bond movies.

"Bond 24," the latest installment in the James Bond franchise, will star Daniel Craig as James Bond and will be helmed by returning director Sam Mendes. Bond girl Naomie Harris is expected to reprise her "Skyfall" role as Moneypenny.

With filming set to start in October, the "Bond 24" team will have a little over a year to meet the November 6, 2015 release date.
