Android 4.4 Kit Kat release date: Asus is indeed an emerging name in the Android mobile platform, but a lot of people think twice in buying its devices due to poor software support. But not anymore.  

According to a report by GSM Arena, the Taiwanese manufacturer has announced the list of devices which would get the latest version of Android. 

The devices which Asus announced are included in the company's PadFone smartphone-tablet hybrid lineup. 

Included in the list are the PadFone Infinity, PadFone Infinity 2, and PadFone 2. The report says the company will still think things through if the newly announced PadFone mini would get Android Kit Kat as well. 

In the report, the devices will not only receive the newest Android version, but the company's latest version of Zen UI as well. 

Android 4.4 Kit Kat release date for the PadFone 2 and PadFone Infinity would be in Q2, while the PadFone Infinity 2 should get it by Q3.
