Upcoming Windows Phones 2014: Samsung's New WP-Powered Handset Named ATIV SE, Rumored Specs Include 4.3" Or 5" Display, Quad-Core CPU, 2GB RAM And 13MP Shooter

Upcoming Windows Phones 2014: Samsung is not popular for its Windows Phone lineup, but the new Verizon-bound Huron has already gotten an official name - the ATIV SE.

According to a report by GSM Arena, the smartphone will run on the new Windows Phon 8.1 version and would be released this spring.

Considering the first WP-phone Samsung made was dubbed ATIV, the report suggests that SE in ATIV SE could mean 'second edition'.

Several weeks ago, GFX Benchmarking app noticed the Huron on its database. Some of the specs which it displayed include either a 4.3-inch screen with 720p display or a 5-inch 1080p display, a quad-core CPU, a Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, 2GB of RAM and a 13-megapixel camera at the back.

With the release of the Windows Phone 8.1 update set in April, we all expect the ATIV SE to run on the newest WP version.
