Nokia Android Phone: Nokia Store App Ported To Android, Allows Users To Download And Install Nokia Here, Mix Radio And Others

Nokia Android phone: Nokia may not have the huge and comprehensive Play Store Google has, but it has its fair share of decent applications. What if you can sideload these apps on your Android phone?

In a recent post in the GSM Arena Blog, a member of the XDA-Developers forum came up with a method to install the Nokia store in regular Android devices.

By regular it means Android handsets which are supported by Google services.

While the Nokia Store is not that huge and the choice for apps is rather slim, users can have access to Nokia's priced Here app, as well as the Mix Radio.

However, the forum member opseemnik posted that the project to port these apps so they can work properly is still 'in progress'.

Getting Nokia Store is as simple as downloading an apk file and then installing it to your Android device. You can get the NStore.apk from the specific XDA Developers forum thread.

The post also mentions that aside from the Nokia Store, the new Nokia's bootanimation, icons and sounds are also some of the things developers want to sideload on their Android phones.
