"The Sims 4" release date is set for fall 2014.

The only official information revealed regarding the Sims 4 release date is that it will arrive at some point during the fall season of 2014.

Recently, rumors emerged suggesting that The Sims 4 release date might happen on the week of September 15. The post on SimsVIP reads, "Earlier this month, SimCookie visited a friend who works at French retailer Micromania, and was told The Sims 4 is currently slated for the week of September 15th, 2014."

Moreover, a Twitter post from Sims Domination (@SimsDomination) shared that The Sims 4 release date is set for the week of September 15, as revealed by an employee from a retail store in Brazil.

@Sims_Soul @Sim_Cookie An employee of a brazilian store (@livcuritiba) told me that #TheSims4 will be released (Brazil) on 09/18.
