Rachel Brosnahan has turned heads with her performance in House of Cards. In the show, she plays the role of Rachel Posner, a troubled former prostitute dragged into Underwood's plans by Doug Stamper after sleeping with Peter Russo (who was killed in season one). In an interview with The News, the former Blacklist recurring star said that she was originally scheduled for a couple of episodes in the Netflix political drama. However, because of her great performance, she made it through the first season and became an integral character in the second.

"I had no idea," she told The News. "I was originally slated for one or two episodes and I had been told that I might recur. But according to the producers and the showrunner, there wasn't really any intention of that."

In another interview with the Entertainment Weekly, Brosnahan did not only drop House Of Card Season 3 Spoilers but also campaigned for her character. She believes that Rachel Posner should come back in the third season. Up to this day, Rachel Posner's return is still up in the air.

"I have no clue what is happening with the third season. I think Rachel should come back. I think there's a lot of loose ends. I also think it's interesting if Rachel came back because she's one of the bigger threats to Frank now. She's still the missing link, and people are discovering that she exists."

On the same interview, Rachel shared some info about the fate of Doug Stamper (played by Criminal Minds' Michael Kelly), Frank Underwood's chief of staff and confidant.

"I don't think we know that he's dead yet," Brosnahan told EW. "It cuts so quickly. I don't think we can say for sure that Stamper is dead." Prior to filming, "Michael [Kelly] and I had some conversations [about the ending moments]. He's very upset with me! [Laughs] It was some tough, crazy scenes in the woods, but I don't think I've ever worked with an actor that is so kind and positive all the time. Michael's amazing. He can't be dead!"
