Godzilla, The King of All Monsters, Goes Up Against Walter White, Meth Kingpin, In New Trailer; Breaking Bad’s Bryan Cranston Plays A Scientist Again (Video)

Bryan Cranston, is breaking bad again as he resurrects Godzilla in the new trailer for the upcoming Godzilla reboot. Walter White didn't teach that in science class.

"You have no idea what's coming" warns Bryan Cranston as he sees the imminent catastrophe of Godzilla. The papers are saying it's a natural disaster, but Walter White knows ... this is unnatural.

Bryan Cranston, as scientist Joe Brody, warns "You are not fooling anybody when you say that what happened was a natural disaster."

"Breaking Bad" star Bryan Cranston features prominently in the latest trailer for this summer's epic reboot of "Godzilla." Legendary Pictures and Warner Brothers released a two and a half minute trailer for director Gareth Edwards' 21st Century update of the classic Japanese movie monster.

Godzilla himself, the King of All Monsters, is going up against Heisenberg, the meth kingpin of New Mexico. Sadly, though, Godzilla only makes a cameo in the trailer.

This is the second full trailer for the $160 million disaster epic Godzilla, the world's favorite radioactive lizard.

The "Godzilla" film will connect to the mythology of the 1954 Japanese original Gojira, which starred a pre-Ironside Raymond Burr. The U.S. military said it conducted nuclear tests in the Pacific in the 1950s. But no, those weren't tests. They were trying to blow up Godzilla. The government wasn't about to go public with that. So, they put it around that there was a natural disaster.

That doesn't fool Bryan Cranston. In the midst of tidal waves, crushed train cars, and fighter jets being thrown around like they are toys, he accuses "You're lying. It was not an earthquake, it wasn't a typhoon. Because what's really happening is that you're hiding something out there - and it is going to send us back to the Stone Age!"

Ken Watanabe's character says. "The arrogance of man is thinking nature is in our control, and not the other way round."

Bryan Cranston leads an impressive cast that includes Aaron Taylor-Johnson as his son, Ford, and Elizabeth Olsen as Ford's wife. Godzilla also stars Sally Hawkins, Juliette Binoche and David Strathairn.

Godzilla was directed by Gareth Edwards. This is Gareth Edwards' second outing in the kaiju genre. He directed 2010's "Monsters."

Cranston told the crowd at Comic-Con International in San Diego this summer he loved Monsters, "It was fantastic because he was able to make a monster movie also into a character-driven component where you really felt for these people. And that's what he transformed this 'Godzilla' into."

British director Gareth Edwards said, "My main idea was to imagine, 'If this really happened, what would it be like?' I wanted to take a grounded, realistic approach to a Godzilla film."

The screenplay was polished by "Shawshank Redemption"writer-director Frank Darabont, who also created "The Walking Dead" and just finished up "Mob City" for TNT.

Godillz hits theaters on May 16.
