Titanfall Release Date Set For March 11; Xbox One And Respawn Hosting A Launch Party For Upcoming FPS Game In Austin, Texas; Twitch Broadcast Available

Titanfall release date is finally happening this month. 

According to a post on Inquisitr, Titanfall release date is particularly set for March 11. Moreover, the beta version for the upcoming first-person shooter title has already been closed. Titanfall will be available for Xbox One and PC.

For the Xbox One version of Titanfall, interested gamers will be able to purchase it beginning on March 11 as either in digital form or via disc. As further posted on the online publication site, the digital download of the Titanfall Xbox One "may load slightly faster" and will consume more than 500 GB of the hard drive space. The disc version will use up to 20 GB in estimate.

Moreover, International Business Times posted that Respawn and Microsoft will be hosting a launch party for the game the night before the official Titanfall release date on March 11. The post reads:

"Xbox One will be hosting a launch celebration in Austin, Texas at SXSW on March 10, with Respawn founder Vince Zampella and Community Manager Abbie Heppe - along with Xbox Corporate Vice President Yusuf Mehdi."

According to the official blog site of Xbox Director of Programming, Larry Hyrb, who is also known as Major Nelson, the launch party will begin at 9 PM and it will "exclusive opportunities to meet the developers behind Titanfall, cool giveaways, and of course, lots of Titanfall gameplay."

For those who will not be able to attend the Titanfall launch party on March 10, Microsoft is also creating a special Twitch broadcast of the event. The blog post reads:

 twitch.tv/xbox or on the Twitch Xbox app starting at 10pm Central (11pm Eastern, 8pm Pacific) on March 10 for incredible gameplay action, special appearances from Vince Zampella, Abbie Heppe, and Yusuf Mehdi, the legendary team from Rooster Teeth Productions, Xbox Live Gamerscore and achievement leader Stallion83, Xbox's own Major Nelson, GameTrailers TV and Spike TV host Geoff Keighley, Twitch's Jon Carnage and many, many more.

Lastly, as part of the celebration of Titanfall's release date on March 11, there will be over 6000 midnight openings throughout the US.
