Absolutely Fabulous Movie News: Jennifer Saunders isn't bonkers, she was just the writer. Best known for starring in the British Comedy series Absolutely Fabulous, Jennifer Saunders also wrote AbFab. Now that Absolutely Fabulous is headed for filming. Jennifer Saunders needs a lie down.

Jennifer Saunders says she is undergoing hypnosis to help her finish the screenplay for the Absolutely Fabulous movie.

Jennifer Saunders suffers from procrastination. She believes a bit of hypnotherapy will make her right as rain for the long-delayed Absolutely Fabulous film.

Speaking to the audience at The Independent Bath Literature Festival, Saunders said the movie version of the hit show "is going to happen. I'm writing it now; I have a deadline for the treatment".

Saunders started writing the AbFab movie back in 2011. Then she took a nap, watered the plants, checked her emails, made some calls. Next the she know, "I am actually having treatment, hypnotherapy, for procrastination. It's true, What my hypnotist said was to get rid of the backpack of negativity".

If Saunders doesn't finish she'll owe her former partner Dawn French 100,000 pounds.

Saunders said "Dawn tricked me on the radio. She bet me £100,000 that I don't write it this year, so I have to."

Talking about the shows "Absolutely Fabulous" and "French and Jennifer Saunders," the comic actress says "I've been very lucky in my life that I've been able to work with people who were my friends and are my friends. A great thing about being in AbFab is that every air steward brings you champagne, because they think you must want to be drunk all the time".

Saunders also said she'd show up on some comedy panel shows, now that the BBC banned all-male shows.

She said "Yes, they have to have women on them now. It's the law." Before she was "too scared" to do panel shows, "It's quite intimidating, but the older you get - and after you get past the menopause - you don't care. You think they're just little boys."

Saunders currently appears in BBC's can be seen in adaptation of PG Wodehouse's "Blandings."  In April, Saunders will appear in "Have I Got News for You."
