Karbonn Mobile: Indian Phone Maker Rumored To Launch Dual-OS Smartphone, Running Both Android And Windows Phone

Karbonn Mobile: Have you wondered what it would be like to own a smartphone that can boot on either Windows Phone or Android? If yes, then this may be the realization of your dreams.

In a report by several tech media outfits, an Indian phone manufacturer is rumored to announce a dual-booting smartphone that can run both Android and Windows Phone.

Of course, this is not the first time a manufacturer aims to make a dual-booting OS. The Geeksphone Revolution is another smartphone that can run multiple OS'es, starting with Firefox OS and Android. Reports say more platforms are coming and soon to be supported.

But what about Karbonn Mobile's own version?

According to the report, the Indian company has a contract with Microsoft but the Redmond giant eased conditions so other manufacturers would be able to use it for their own handsets.

While there are no rumored specs yet about the upcoming device, we expect it to fall in the midrange category and bear an entry-level pricetag to attract potential buyers.
