GTA 5 PC Release Date This Summer? Retailer Reveals Possible June Launch

Grant Theft Auto 5's PC version could be released in June, according to a listing on Czech retailer Supergamerz.cz, the Epoch Times reports.

The highly-anticipated game was listed under "Games for Windows Live," which is a service that Microsoft discontinued, pointing to the fact that it could just be another unsubstantiated rumor, the Epoch Times also reports.

Take-Two Interactive recently stated that it is putting more emphasis on Grand Theft Auto 5's Online version, leaving many gamers wondering if the PC version may be too expensive to develop.

"With GTA V, we have sold 32.5m units in to date, which is extraordinary. 70 per cent of people that have played GTA V while online have played GTA Online, which is a free-to-play experience. And recurrent consumer spending related to GTA Online represented nearly half of our digitally delivered revenue in the quarter. So people are voting that they want to stay engaged and they are voting with their wallets," Strauss also said, according to Kotaku.

Amazon revealed that Grand Theft Auto 5's PC version will not be compatible for Windows 8, Monitoring Crunch reports.

The retail site posted the PC version of GTA 5 to be for PCs up to Windows 7 only.

Gamers awaiting Grand Theft Auto 5's PC version are now able to get a taste of computer gameplay-GTA mod enthusiast Taltigolt is trying to transform the last official GTA released on PC into GTA 5, Kotaku reports.

These GTA 4 to GTA 5 mods recreate the terrain of the games, not the missions, Kotaku also reports.
