The episode 16 synopsis reads: "Guns are drawn when DiNozzo confronts a man impersonating a Navy officer and the perpetrator is left dead. The investigation reveals that the only witness is DiNozzo's father, who is in town to disclose a secret to his son."

In the extended promo video, Anthony's father is spotted getting a big hug from Abby when he appears back on the scene, Hollywood Hills reports. However, he also becomes a witness to Tony shooting down a perpetrator right in the middle of the street. Bishop later tells Tony she saw his father at a hotel with another woman - who happens to be pregnant!
