Upcoming Samsung Phones 2014: 5.5" Galaxy Note 3 Neo LTE Now Available In Korea, Boasts Super AMOLED Display, Snapdragon 800 Chipset, 8MP Shooter

Upcoming Samsung phones 2014: After getting announced at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas in January, the midrange version of the Galaxy Note 3 has finally arrived in Korea.

According to a report by GSM Arena, the handset has been made available in Samsung's homeland since March 3. However, if you look at its specs, it does not seem to have the midrange specs it had during its announcement.

Apparently, the version which launched in Korea is the LTE-A edition, and is powered by a more powerful Snadragon 800 processor, and a 2.3GHz Krait 400 quad-core CPU.

Meanwhile, the original version of the Galaxy Note 3 Neo is only powered by a Snapdragon 400 chipset or the Exynos Hexa chipset.

But if you come and think of it, it really does not make sense releasing an upgraded device that is supposed to be a cheaper midrange variant of the flagship. If the Galaxy Note 3 is the high-end flagship phone and the Galaxy Note 3 Neo is a cheaper midrange version, where does the Galaxy Note 3 Neo LTE come in?

Given its specs, it would be equivalent to the original Note 3 save for its lower screen resolution.

In spite this mind-boggling strategy of Samsung, it keeps on winning so maybe it's in the right direction.
