'Divergent' Movie Review By Veronica Roth Finally Out! 'It's Everything I Hoped For,' Says Author About Shailene Woodley And Theo James' Chemistry

With barely three weeks before the premiere of 'Divergent' movie, author Veronica Roth appears to be very satisfied with how her bestselling novel has been recreated. Recently, she attended a private screening of 'Divergent' movie in Los Angeles, California. Does she think that the filmmakers gave justice to the novel? Definitely!

"Even though I am so familiar with this story, I clearly remember grabbing the arms of my chair when Tris runs to catch the train after the Choosing Ceremony because I was nervous that she wouldn't make it," she wrote.

For those who are hoping that Shailene Woodley and Theo James' dating chemistry on-screen will be impressive, here's Roth's opinion: "If I start calling people out specifically, I'm just going to gush about everyone. But since Tris is very much the anchor of the series, and Four is of particular interest to many of you, I feel like I should say that Shailene Woodley as Tris and Theo James as Four are everything I hoped for (or maybe more than I dared to hope for)."

'Divergent' revolves around a futuristic Chicago which aspires to uphold peace and security by dividing its citizens in five factions based on their skills and personalities. However, there are citizens whose characteristics cannot be encapsulated in just a single faction - they're the Divergents and worse, they're being killed.

Shailene Woodley and Theo James manage to develop a strong connection in the film. Can their love survive the chaos?

'Divergent' officially hits theater screens on March 21.
