The 37-24 Warriors won last night on the road vs an Indiana team with the NBA's top home record at29-3. Golden State also won earlier in the year at Miami, but it was thanks to a shot made by Klay Thompson with 0.6 seconds left. "We'll take any win we can get in this building," Thompson told ESPN.com after scoring his team-high 16 points in the fourth quarter of a 25-point game on his part. "This team is real good here. They're the best in the NBA (at home). To come here and get a win, it's huge, especially on this road trip."
Thompson scored 14 over the first 6:14 of the final period while Stephan Curry was on the bench with four fouls. Then he got the last basket of the game, which was the one that really made the difference.
"He was great," coach Mark Jackson told ESPN.com. "He's durable and you take him for granted. He's a guy who's never missed a game. He was big-time."
The Celtics have lost three in a row, but almost had one of their biggest wins of the season on Saturday against the Pacers. In a close game, Rajon Rondo had a basket that would have given his team that lead, over turned because the refs reviewed it and said that he did not get the shot off before the shot-clock expired.
"It let the pressure off them," Jared Sullinger, who had 10 points on 4-of-12 shooting in his first game back after missing three with a concussion, told NBA.com. "They were playing frantic when the score was (93-90). Then they took away that 3. We kind of let it slip away."
